Acupuncture treatment is suitable for anyone to receive. The gentle techniques utilized in the Japanese styles of treatment make it a great option for children and babies and anyone who is needle phobic.

Does  Acupuncture hurt?

One of the aims at Harmony Healing Centre is to provide effective but gentle treatment.  The treatment techniques used are designed to be very relaxing and comfortable to receive, with the aim that the experience be pain free.

How may Acupuncture be of benefit to me?

Acupuncture can address many health concerns. It treats the whole person, body mind and spirit, restoring harmony to the meridian system to support the body to function at its optimal level.

What do I expect from an Acupuncture treatment at Harmony Healing Centre?

Your initial consultation will include the taking of a complete medical history and any relevant dietary and lifestyle information, followed by palpation of the forearms and lower limbs, abdomen and pulse. A diagnosis is then made, and a treatment strategy is formulated, followed by the corresponding treatment.  After the treatment, there may be some suggestions about lifestyle changes or other relevant information the client can do at home to enhance their healing.  If appropriate, an Australian Bush Flower essence may also be prescribed.

How many treatments do I need?

The number of treatments required varies greatly depending on many factors including the overall health of the client and the chronicity of the problem.  Once an assessment is made a more accurate prognosis can be given.

As a general rule, 4 weekly treatments are recommended and then your situation is reassessed. At this stage many people are ready to move to fortnightly or monthly treatments if they require further sessions.

How much will it cost?

Initial acupuncture consultation and treatment (adult)  $110 – 1 hr

Standard acupuncture consultation (adult)  $95 – 45-55 mins

Initial acupuncture consultation and treatment (15 yrs and under) $70 – 1 hr

Standard acupuncture consultation (child 15 yrs and under)  $60 – 20-30 mins

Reiki - $90 45 mins

Wellness coaching (inc. Acupressure, dietary and lifestyle advice, Flower essences and ACT)  – $120 1 hr

Bush flower essences - $10 per bottle
